A study carried out in the US has revealed that obese people have obese dogs. Yes of course dogs are “good” for us but are we good for them. Owners of fat dogs should accept that they are responsible for what their dog eats and how much the dog exercises. Better to change the lifestyle than to visit the vet to get the latest drug to help obesity in dogs. If you would like to learn more about responsible dog ownership, dog training and the history of the dog download a free e book which can be found on:

It really is an excellent read and is written in an amusing but informative style. I hope you enjoy it.

My health has improved immensely since I started to live with a dog. Every day I’m thinking, ‘I’m too tired and today is the day she’s not going to get a walk…’ Then my conscience stirs and I know I have to get the old clothes and the walking boots out. As I tie up the laces she appears from the other end of the house. Her feathery tail starts to wave from side to side and I think, ‘Yes, I can do it. I can walk for an hour.’ The other day I ran ten minutes to catch a train – I know I couldn’t have done that before I started walking every day with my Penny.
